Great video. Will you need to change the angle of your oven door or just the angle of the reflectors? Do you think the angle degree needed will remain constant throughout the seasons you'll be cooking?
"Bacon makes everything better"....so, so true!
I found you by your YouTube videos of the solar window screens. I can't leave a comment or question there because I am not a YouTube subscriber. I want to use your method to make solar screens, but I am not sure how you attach the screens to the windows? My windows have never had screens so there is no slot or anything. Did you just screw the screens onto the window frame or is there some type of clamp?
I will enjoy digging through your archives, looks like there is a ton of helpful information.
to answer your first question,no, i wont need to change the angle of the glass. i aim the glass directly at the sun and the reflectors "scoop" more sun and direct it into the oven. as the seasons change,so does the angle that i aim my oven. the second question,i screwed my screens directly to the aluminium frame of the window. i drilled the screen frame, then used a smaller drill to make a hole in the window frame to accomodate a screw large enough to hold the solar screen frame to the window frame.
